A small manufacturer seeking an Office Assistant/Customer Service to enter financial transactions and to handle shipping transactions using QuickBooks software and spreadsheets.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Enter sales orders and bill customers for shipments using accounting software.
Contact trucking companies in arranging LTL shipments. Use FedEx and UPS for smaller orders.
Enter data to spreadsheets and QuickBooks.
Requirements for candidate chosen include:
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Proficiency of QuickBooks and Microsoft office.
Ability to learn and retain new skills.
Experience in manufacturing setting helpful.
At least 1 year of experience in office related work.
Small office setting. Must be able to pass background check.
Job is for 40 hours per week or might consider part-time for right person.
