This role will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating project activities for large, complex software implementations in collaboration with our customers’ project managers and other key stakeholders, as well as with NAVBLUE’s technical and product personnel. A key focus for this role will be on managing project activities to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The successful candidate is an effective, confident communicator with extensive experience in implementing large, complex SaaS products into sophisticated customer environments, knows the right questions to ask to get the job done, can deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, and can demonstrate sound leadership to business partners and key stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and handle multiple timelines and priorities is essential to being successful in this role.__Responsibilities:__* Develops project plans specifying goals, scheduling, identification and management of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources; review with Senior Management as required* Co-ordination and communication with customers and internal stakeholders in multiple countries and across multiple time zones* Synchronize NAVBLUE’s project/implementation plan with customer’s project manager and plans* Annual program planning and budget development* Formulates technical scope and objectives of project for project personnel; manages project scope and communication with customers to ensure that deliverables meet customer expectations.* Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks including hand-over to customer support (user manuals & product documentation, scheduling training, hand-over to Account Management, orientation with NAVBLUE’s customer support infrastructure)* Liaises with team members to ensure clear understanding of project scope, requirements and budget* Schedules and facilitates customer and project team meetings* Creates and maintains activity and progress reports for both internal and external customers* Monitors projects to ensure that they are on budget throughout the life of the project; identifies and reports project changes that affect budget* Establishes and maintains good communications with Product Management, the customer and internal staff on project issues and concerns including managing customer expectations on requests for changes to project deliverables.* Monitors quality of project deliverables* Anticipates and devises solutions to problems that may arise in project execution* Properly notifies Management of any pending or current escalations relating to the project that could impact the success of the project* May include management of third party vendors__Academic/Educational Requirements:__* Successful completion of University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience* Project Management Professional credentials from accredited Project Management Institute, or equivalent work experience__Required Skills/Experience:__* 5 – 7 years Project Management and Implementation experience in a software technology environment, with projects of varying scope and size* Superior communication, people management and technical presentation skills* Strong problem solving, facilitation and organization skills* Prior experience in commercial airline flight operations a definite asset* Able to travel to global customer sites as required* Extensive experience with MS Project and MS Excel__About Us:__NAVBLUE is the new generation of digital, user-friendly Flight Operations and Air Traffic Management solutions.
