__POSITION SUMMARY__ Our Enterprise Apps team develops and supports a host of applications used by both internal and external customers hosted on Amazon Web Services. As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer. your responsibilities will include building scalable infrastructure on which we deliver our software as well as manage development tools that are used on a daily basis by members of the Engineering team. __PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES__* Drive standardization efforts across multiple services* Identify and lead efforts to improve automation* Develop new documentation and departmental technical procedures* Design solutions around continuous integration and delivery* Serve as a primary point who is responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of our applications and services* Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations* Develop and setup tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy* Provide expertise with effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale environment* Guiding and architecting development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with operability in mind* This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job* Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.* Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.* Employee must pass post offer criminal background check__QUALIFICATIONS__* B.S. in Computer Science, other technical discipline, or equivalent* Minimum of 8 years of related relevant experience.* 4-6+ years as a DevOps Engineer in a Linux environment* At least 2 years of experience with using Shell or Python scripting* 5 years of experience with MySQL or relational database* 2 years of experience with ElasticSearch and Nginx.* At least 1 year of experience with RabbitMQ* At least 3 years of experience with using AWS services or similar cloud platform__KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES__* Ability to use a diverse set of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS* Strong collaborator capable of reaching across functional borders* Strong written and verbal communicator who actively seeks and values diverse perspectives* A drive to improve the development and release process* Experience with building and setting up systems automation tools* Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to docker and AWS infrastructure* Experience to implement and operate the entire software development lifecycle with using AWS and Docker. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus* Experience with Atlassian applications is a nice to have* Experience with SQL and relational databases is a must* Extensive understanding with feature and behavior of Java and Ruby are a nice to have* Strong knowledge with information and network security such as SSL.
